I got my start on the Internet through a Calvin and Hobbes message board. It's a good way to get picked up by pedos (didn't happen) and meet some damaged people 5-10 years older than you (did happen) but it's also a decently low stakes way to connect with people with a common interest. A well-run wiki would also teach kids basic neutral tone and research skills, as well as the ability to accept constructive criticism.

Of course most wikias are terrible but that's another thing altogether.

The most important thing about trivia is participation and having fun! It's not about whether or not you're right or wrong, but just ~friendship~ :ninja:
