Awesome! posted:what % of the regular posters here have owned star citizen jpegs at some point? is it like 90% like the xbox sucks thread? I bought the basic Aurora package early 2015 for £35. Was enjoying Elite, thought I might see what the other big space 'game' was up to. Then tried to play Alpha Commander. And wasn't impressed. Whilst technically not a jpeg, it might as well have been given the framerate. Still, early days, I thought. In another year or so, when it's getting closer to done it'll probably be worth checking out. Then their stupid convention for a non-game happened late last year, became a thing, this thread (or maybe it's predecessor) went mental, and I got a refund.

Why is page 3500 a milestone for this thread? It'll be 4000 by next weekend if random idiots just post about posting like what I am doing here.

trucutru posted:Ah, ok. Since everybody was telling last year to ask for a refund or to sell your ships, and to that you replied that you would lose your faith if they didn't deliver by dec 15th, I naturally assumed that you meant that you would to get rid of them after losing your faith, like most would. My fault. citizen, get a chargeback

The MISC Prospector pulled in $230K for the day, which beats the Vanduul Blade's $145K opening day. I think both sales started at roughly the same time of day, so they should be comparable. It'll be interesting to see how frontloaded demand was. The Vanduul Blade made about $155K on day two and $120K on day three.
