The charged R2 is stupidly easy to avoid, but it's so satisfying to land it. It will just straight-up oneshot people that haven't put points into Vigor, which is a lot more common than I would have expected.

A neat trick with the farron greatsword is to use it in conjunction with a strong shield with Weapon Skill. It gives you a lot of versatility because you've got good protection from, say, the Shield of Want or the Stone Parma and a high frame priority parry. Certainly some surprise factor to it as well if you want to go PvPing. The animation is a little bit weird, though.

Just invaded some guy, ran away to heal, and he added me to complain about my cowardly tactics and told me to just come and die... so I told him I chameleoned somewhere in the Farron Keep and to come find me  Then he alt-F4ed which means I win even more than if I had actually won the fight

I love the consumed king fight. After an entire series of roaring monsters and stoic armormen grunting out warcrys it was genuinely nice to run into a boss that was feeling chatty. Tell me about your fake baby, Oceiros. How's the fam? Wife doing okay?
