Rigged Death Trap posted:Yeah the roadtrip section (sponsored by Coleman®) is better. The trunk of the car looked like a mobile hair salon. We had two bags of glitter, seventy-five tins of pomade, five cans of high-tack wax, a salt shaker half full of talc, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored dyes, gels, tints, volumizers . . . and also a quart of mousse, a quart of conditioner, a case of Shampoo, a pint of hairspray and two dozen combs . . . Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious hair-care collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

A while ago I mentioned this thread in the SS13 thread because of the title after someone made a comment about what describing gameplay sounds like to someone to someone who doesn't play. My response and the post immediately after itGWBBQ posted:There are some SS13 posts in these threads, the first one is even named for it! There I was in Forza 6, lap 24 of 50, when this happened. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2SwZx7-7Fg I sat there, waiting for one of those dickbags to hit me so I could continue the race but there was no such luck.

I don't play online so all of the cars that were zipping by me were all AI cars. I found out that the easiest way to rank up is to do a few 50 laps at Indy and it doesn't take lone - especially when I was laid up on the couch after a surgery anyway. Grinding? Sure. But it took my mind off the pain and in that car, each lap is pretty quick (as has been said). So yeah, some people play a video game for fun. I don't understand the question

It originates mostly from people like Birgirpall, where transcribing the voices into text is necessary because he and his buddy don't speak english in the moment sometimes, and transcribing the points where they do speak english is just there for consistency. The idea with this video specifically though is to provide cheap visual gags like showing the word "hup" bouncing around the screen when he says "hup" compared to the normal stationary subtitles. The problem is that it's not funny

Yeah Birgirpall was where I saw it first, and tbf it works well in his videos. It's playful, and only there when needed. That one up there is just literal transcription, slightly ankled. But I'm seeing it in like clips from TV news programs sometimes now. Like they're expecting people to have the video on mute. It's super annoying to watch the video with sound cause you've already read what they're going to say. Carthag Tuek has a new favorite as of 02:01 on Apr 23, 2016 |

I've only heard this one third hand so I don't remember much about the game, but it's a glitch that has stuck with me after first hearing about it, long ago. It was some NES-era game, which involved you in a tank blowing up some other tanks and stuff. You'd shoot things, they'd turn red to show they've taken damage. Do it enough, they'd blow up, and you'd move on. There was an insidious exploit/glitch, though: if you paused while your enemy was red, the game would just assume that the enemy was perpetually taking damage. Lower level guys, bosses, it didn't matter: land a hit, pause when it turned red, and wait a while. Unpause, and it'll be dead.

Ah poo poo dyslexia kicked in there. ChaosArgate posted:If you didn't mention that you were in a tank, I'd have assumed you were talking about Mega Man 1, where you can prematurely end an enemy's i-frames by pausing with select, which doesn't clear the screen of your projectiles, so you can just mash select to quickly drain an enemy's health. With that you need to mash pause over and over. In Blaster Master you just need to pause for a few seconds and then it'll do it on its own. Tracula has a new favorite as of 16:38 on Apr 26, 2016 |

Not so much a glitch as a PC game not playing nice with modern hard- & software. That's supposed to be Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, a first person shooter with a western setting from 2009.
