SA and UFO are Really Fantastic. The worst one is TD or EoSD, though just because the latter's so rough and the patterns tend to being too basic and boring.

EoSD is probably the worst. But I don't have much love for SA either because I've never been able to make it past stage 5 and it makes me very upset.

I can't bring myself to care much about Mountain of Faith, but I would never say it's bad all the other touhous are good and ddc is my favorite even if I recognize other games do have some more awesome things in it

More than any other piece of media I find Touhou opinions simply baffling. One might as well run a RNG fueled by Touhou game/char/music rankings by different people.

I feel that DDC is the most balanced of the modern era, although my favorite game is Mountain of Faith due to best characters and music. I like SA as well despite its inbalance between characters but I do not like UFO since both the mechanic and covering the screen with point items is bad.

Although if we go mechanics and actual gameplay, yes UFO is far and away the worst. It forces you to play in such a rigid, scripted way.
