I kind of feel bad for zolthrog. I can't really explain why. It's like when people yell angrily at a puppy that knows it's doing something bad but can't figure out what that bad thing is or is simply unable to help itself. I guess this isn't the most comforting way to express sympathy.

I'm not entirely sure what your opinions are because I kind of glaze over your longer posts. But I am firmly aware you hate splatfests. That much I get; the rest is nuance to me because I see the game mainly as fun and silly. Sure ranked can be stressful but that's why Splatfests are all the more enjoyable to me.It's like the Squidlimpics but low pressure and everyone wins.

I used my shells to add slots on good-looking gear that I don't use a lot. Oh, I spent one on rerolling those cream hi-tops with ninja jump on them so I could get more than one swim speed up. That's about it.

I don't reroll anymore, because I already have a good variety of fresh gear I'm happy with. Now I'm just spending my snails/points on maxing out all the slots. All my hats are maxed out, but I still need to unlock 100+ slots for shirts and 50+ for shoes. Not counting snails, that's more than 3500 rounds of turf war to max out everything. Basically, I want to have everything maxed out by the time Spla2n drops. edit - If I play a solid 2 hours a day, it'd take about 4 and half months. That's not so bad I guess. That was pretty neat, though there was something off about their body movements. It seemed too fluid; lacking the acceleration and deceleration of actual bodies. As a result it took away from the illusion. My only other complaint is that since they are CG squid people they could have done literally anything in their choreography, and seeing them interact more and have more advanced choreography would have been awesome. I can't decide if them turning into squids and back would have been really cool or horrifying.
