The US waves US flags and has historically gained territory. To say to China that it cannot wave US flags as well is hypocritical.

It was a bad derail but I enjoyed this bit of nonstandard political writingquote:If either of the Weinstein brothers had signed, this group would have not only the power to shut down all film production but to form a minyan with enough Fiji water on hand to fill a mikvah.

On topic, every rich or hoping-to-be-rich Chinese I've talked to has at some point mentioned Rich Dad Poor Dad like it's one of those rite of passage books everyone has to read at certain stage of life to fit in. I knew a few Isrealis in New York and one in Vegas and they were fine but most of the ones going to SEA are fresh out of their required military service and were the trashiest, cheapest, rudest bunch of uncultured shits I've ever encountered. There was (probably still is) an Israeli style restaurant called Shoshanna in Bangkok that I would go to to get fixed on hummus and shakshuga and sometimes the owner was just beaten down in there from having to deal with the stream of those loving jerkoffs that came in there. Same with the lady that ran the internet cafe upstairs. raton fucked around with this message at 01:18 on Apr 29, 2016 |

It would be so funny to have a B-2 fly over those little chunks of rock and drop a 2000lb JDAM (with a delayed fuse) on each of those little specks and see the CCP's reaction when they cruise by the next day and can't find them.

Sheep-Goats posted:I actually saw the bottom one in the flesh (it was on the counter of a hostel in Bangkok's big backpacker ghetto) but that's not my picture of it. Israeli backpackers were the dread scum of SEA before the locusts hatched. A lot of Indians also see Jews the way Chinese do, but with a camaraderie aspect on top. "They love business, we love business! They hate Muslims, we hate Muslims! Also they got their religion from us, but that's none of our business." The difference between Chinese and Indians is that they have a willingness to absorb what goes on in the world (having an English-fluent upper/middle/and upper-lower class makes that easy) and you get a lot of jaded people who don't give a flying gently caress about striking it rich or respecting those with money, they just want to have a peaceful life and do what they like. Due to the popularity of Goa and surrounding states and some spots in the Himalayas with Israelis (with Israelis going apeshit over Psytrance and flocking to party spots in India to do drugs and "yoga" orgies), 9 times out of 10 any random Israeli male you see in India outside these hot spots will be selling drugs. The newspapers were always full of "5 Israeli men got deported for running an imported drug ring selling MDMA, etc" and similar stories. At this point they will love a non-Israeli Jew but look down on an actual Israeli Jew due to the stigma attached by backpacking partygoers.
