I wasn't really hoping, but when I was trying to guess who it was Luci was freaked out about, Hitler did cross my mind. I know that Mazikeen is a demon, but this show hasn't really defined demons or their origins. Fallen angels are often the same thing as demons, and Lucifer being able to create powerful beings such as demons seems pretty far outside of his power scope. I guess it could have been an administrative privilege of being Lord of Hell... I'm not complaining. So far they have done a great job of setting up these figures without nerding out, contradicting themselves, or crossing any controversial lines. The finale was really good, and I'm excited to see where they go with it next. Also, no case of the week. Instead it was continuation of what was set up in last episodes case, which was actually not a case of the week and was part of the season arc. Whether or not this marks a move towards a little more serialization or not, it's a great way to end a season.

Lucifer took hell from him because ... well no one was going to be able to stop him. (Thats Hellblazer stuff mostly.)

I wonder what the range is on Dekker's weakening of Lucifer. She seemed a decent distance away when Malcolm gut shot the devil. Also Dan has got to believe pretty soon. He saw Lucifer wake up from being murdered and saw the disappearing act. Dekker at least has having shot Lucifer going for her disbelief.

I'm also starting to wonder about angel anatomy. I assumed that Amendiel's wound was fatal because it was a demonic Blade, but with any amount of healing factor you would think an angel could survive getting shived in the gut. Lucifer gets shot in the gut and dies in less than 60 seconds. Maybe angels are like vulcans their hearts are down there?

Wait, people are responding to the obvious troll? Seriously? He came into a comic book TV show thread, notable for the show being nothing like the comic and said (After, its worth noting, the sseason has finished) and said that he hoped its nothing like the comic, and also comcs suck. Does that seem like someone who is arguing in good faith to you? Anyway, if we are giving guesses for "mom", I'm going to stake out left field; "Mom" is a lovely old lady called "Mrs God", and Lucifer is scared because he knows when she catches up with him he is so totally grounded for locking her in hell. No TV for at least a millenia. The bulk of the second season is him contriving ways to sneak out to hang with his friends.

Someone mentioned that it would be cool if the escapee from Hell was someone like Judas and it got me thinking, this show is more like the comic Chronicles of Wormwood than the comic Lucifer. It has the base premise of Lucifer abandoning hell, but the actual character reminds me quite a bit of Danny Wormwood. Son of the devil who doesn't really like the whole plan that he start the apocalypse, so he says gently caress it and just lives his life.

I read it as she wanted to freak out about him being okay, but she didn't want to freak out Trixie who narrowly avoided being horribly traumatized. Like you can see her asking questions with her eyes, but basically being thankful that he and her daughter are okay and taking care of Trixie first.

This show was a pleasant surprise, glad to read it's getting a season 2! Stopped watching somewhere in the middle cause they started downplaying the supernatural and i got the unpleasant taste that they were trying to make Bones 2, but i guess that was a fakeout or they changed their mind cause the last part of the season was very good i thought. I just hope they don't milk the whole "Chloe is always 1inch from discovering Lucifer is Satan, but naaaaah the devil isnt real, lol lets solve crime" for so long that it gets too stale.
