There's a couple other times where they make jokes about their spouses that make it clear that they're talking about each other. Like, in the real doll episode (I think) Lemon makes some joke about Squiddy finding his real doll under the couch or something like that and another time they make a joke about what a loser Squiddy's husband must be for supporting her and they're obviously talking about Lemon.
