Yes and who is going to want to try and live in space that Goons ejected for example snuffbox from in order make space for these renters. It's several regions densely packed with systems, meaning even under Aegis sov systems it'll take a while to chew through. Add in the fact that it's fairly far from Empire space, even in the middle of Drone regions, it makes logistics a pain. You can also throw in Russians and that the regions aren't really great for income either and most people just said gently caress it to that region. Except JFs were added to the game right when carriers packed with ITTY 5s packed with GSCs (which had a similiar cargo capacity) got nerfed, so there really wasn't any point where you couldn't supply from empire? Other than I guess having to run a freighter through mateber.

he's specifically talking about rise, who lived in 4 systems waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy out in the boonies so even the best logistics was a pain in the dick for them also lol at not remembering carriers full of destroyers with capital guns, get your local production on like crazy what that does bring back around though is that highsec had, until recently, infinite production capacity compared to 0.0 so unless you had original NPC made outposts you kind of had to import poo poo just due to production lines the money isnt good enough to have to gently caress around with pos and grind your dick off over making some battleships and ammo
