Someone in the other thread called him "4th place in a 2-man race" which sounds about right.

I really want someone to make a bunch of those wasted gifs but instead it says wasTed and it's the gifs of Carly falling and Lucifer's children running away from him. Please.

Just a reminder, but the USPol hivemind has been wrong EVERY TIME when it came to the republican nominee, especially with Donald Trump. I will not surprised at all when polling later on the general election starts turning towards Trump. Not trying to arzy here, just saying that if that does happen and USPol clutches its pearls I'm gonna be wondering why anyone was surprised. In the meantime let us join together and fiddle in the glow of the rising flames! BetterToRuleInHell fucked around with this message at 02:01 on May 4, 2016 |

This is the WORST case scenario. Hillary is going to win Florida running away. And don't forget that Arizona, Georgia, and loving Utah are now swing states because of Trump. Hillary is going to get 350+ electoral votes guys.

Before anyone celebrates too much we should remember that a lot could happen between now and november. What if both Hillary and Bernie were hospitalized for illness? What if Trump's general election strength isn't actually as illusory as we might assume? On the other hand, for all of his irresponsible statements, he's still leagues better than any of the other republicans in the running would have been. The sweetest part about all of this is that it represents a full-scale national rout of social conservatism the likes of which hasn't been seen for 40 or more years, if ever.

Isn't it just a rout of social conservatism in favor of even more explicit FYGM-ism? At least until the Don (or a successor down the line, if he keeps it close this year) gets routed in the general. That doesn't exactly make me swell with anticipation.

I could see her loving up and losing Florida and maybe Ohio. Or winning both but somehow blowing what should be an easy VA win though it wouldn't matter in that case. If I was runing Clinton's campaign I'd have a shitload of manpower focused in to Ohio and Florida because taking either, let alone both, means she wins and taking both means she wins unless she can do something like lose PA, VA, WI, and maybe some other states she should carry easier than OH or FL.
