Please please let that preview be Manu and not a LOT Deathstroke-son thing. If they give me Manu as Slade again due to time fuckery I'll happily forget all the poo poo from all three shows. Amell is really good at what he does, and I don't understand the writer's fixation on making him this dour, "all this poo poo is my fault" character all the time. Give me Amell acting like the JLU Green Arrow and I'd probably forgive any sin the show ever committed. It feels like a massive waste to keep Ollie on such a one note all the time, and it's not all that interesting to boot. Happy Ollie early in the season was such a breath of fresh air, but they've redacted almost every hint of it. I mean, come on. Given that they threw out limiting the cast to only Green Arrow characters by the second season, I'd widen my search to the whole of the DCU. The article suggested The Guardian which is a possibility. Honestly, the description is very vague given that this is comic books as it essentially just narrows it down to male heroes with a sad backstory. It could even be a preexisting one with the details changed as they've done with others in the show so it could almost be anyone without a skillset to really narrow it down. It could also be Midnighter, now that I think about it.

I forgot how laugh out loud hilarious Oliver's low pitch "Help! Somebody Help!" when he is running Black Canary into the hospital room was. Hoooooooly poo poo HOW did they allow that to stay in? It sounded so stupid, like a grade schoolers impression of a retarded person. Maybe they were going for a "this guy was sad and desperate" thing, but just from a pure production standpoint it was incredibly piss poor v/o work and it never should have been there. Wow that line delivery/modulation was impressively bad. It's supposed to be this emotional moment and he's yelling like Chunk

Thea being unknowingly gaslit was super creepy. That being said, that's a massive cavern the dome is housed in and must take a fuckton of power. The fact that no one knows is a bit odd, if easily handwavable.
