This benfica team is amazing . They might not have the best squad (that would be Porto) , or even play the most aesthetic pleasing football (that would be Sporting). But they fight,run, never give up and they play like a loving team. Just a reminder: Back in October Benfica was 8 points removed from first and in a death spiral.

Well we're down to the last final round of the season.Benfica and Sporting both won their games this weekend and are still separated by 2 points. Benfica next game is against Nacional at home and Sporting goes to Braga. In theory Sporting have the thoughest game but really almost no one expects them to not win their game.Benfica are clearly running on fumes but they will be playing at home with the suport of 65000 fans . Either way theres going to be a massive party in Lisbon next weekend,and some epic meltdowns next monday.

I'm going to have a meltdown right now - loving hell, Benfica did not deserve to be champions this year  I'm really, really pissed. Mostly because of all the boasting I'm going to have to hear in the coming weeks - Benfica fans are awful at this, they're always the greatest of the galaxy and Benfica can do no wrong - they're the most humble, most fighting people ever!! gently caress YOU!

Whats even funny is that even some Benfica fans, back in january where going "yeah Sporting is kicking rear end, they deserve it this year, the cunts", then Sportings coach, president and pundits went NUCLEAR rear end in a top hat and welp, any shred of sympathy went out the window. And if it happens, and Benfica wins it, holy poo poo its gonna be the biggest, most tastiest pie of schadenfreude ever. We might legit have to put Bruno de Carvalho on suicide watch. Of course, this being benfica, they can still hilariously screw it up.

As a fan of neither of those teams, I'd really hate it if Benfica wins it. Three times is too much for a team where 99% of the supporters are such insupportable assholes. On the other hand, it will be funny to see Jesus lose after being so full of himself a few months back. Worst of all, my team has been relegated. Hope the tickets for second division games are cheaper.
