For me it really depends on the type of dog. If it's like an Oscar Myer or Ballpark, then yeah ketchup does good with that and brings me back to childhood. Something better like a Kayem, Hebrew National or especially Pearl (which is a local brand) needs better.

The best hot dogs are always served out of trucks or out of carts. poo poo gets legit, food trucks are the best part about big city living. Best lunch deal in Washington D.C. is going to one of the corner hot dog vendors, they'll hook you up.

Honestly most of the time I just meet in the middle and put honey mustard on my hot dog.

I like mustard on my hotdogs. I usually like a nice stoneground moreso than a French's style yellow mustard. Nathan's franks are pretty good.

For hot sauce, it's Valentina Extra Hot or sriracha. If I want to make a batch of something spicy without overwhelming the flavor, El Yucateco Kutbilik. Habaneros taste good and make poo poo actually spicy without overwhelming something with the flavor of jalapeno or red pepper. Mixes well with Valentina.

That's because Super Mario RPG is distilled fun and is super good. Bowser's haiku in the final dungeon will never not crack me up.

quote:

"We had a meeting," McCormack recalls. "We'd not seen him in weeks because he had other things on. He opened the door, walked in and goes, the hero has a dog, and it dies. And then he left and we didn't see him again for another month. We were like, what the gently caress? That was it. That was the direction."

Actually that's a really good point, I would always take a brat or a sausage over a hot dog at any given opportunity. I think Costco had both for a while and I always got the sausage, don't know if they still do or went hot dog only.

And a chili dog is pretty tasty but always leaves me wondering if I might as well have gotten nachos or something for all the cheese and grease I just ate

Never had the courage to eat a Chicago dog, and probably never will have a proper one since I can't eat anything spicier than nacho cheese anymore

Stux posted:

My condolences for your loss

though a charcoal grilled sausage is pretty good, drowning anything in tomatoes only really works for grilled cheese sandwiches personally

Good food trucks are good, but we get a different mediocre, overpriced truck at work every Wednesday and it's just a bummer. It should be a treat but it always ends up being shame

You know what the most bullshit part of Fable 2 is? It's got this whole economic aspect to it, where you earn money from your properties in real time. Then you go to the spire and it says "10 Year Later" and guess what? you didn't gain and loving money for those 10 years.

Just kidding, most of that game is garbage. I hate Fable as a franchise. At best it's boring and lovely and at worst it's loving offensive.

There some cool ideas in there, but they are buried under a mountain of "more is more" game design philosophy.
