He's disguised as one of the enemies in the game, because each enemy can potentially drop their armor. So he collected the full armor set from that area, killed the guy that was standing there, and took his place. Then when someone comes in to invade, they have no way of knowing that the enemy standing there is actually the player. When you invade another players world, the computer controlled enemies are on your side. So just standing perfectly still in that spot, dressed up in that armor, will fool an invader into thinking you aren't actually the player.

One more Dark Souls scooty-frooty video: Undead Rapport Fun For those who don't play Dark Souls, here's a breakdown of what's going on: - When you beat the game, you get to restart the game in NG+. You keep your gear, and enemies get a big health and damage boost. Beat the game again, you go on to NG+2. Enemies hit even harder and have more health. This goes on and on up to the max of NG+7. - There's an online PVP covenant you can join, which involves "infecting" other player's worlds with super-strong versions of normal enemies. These Black Phantom enemies show up as red, and they will wreck your poo poo, even before you move on to NG+. - There's a spell in the game, Undead Rapport, that lets you temporarily charm certain enemies into fighting for you. Most players aren't familiar with it, since it isn't very practical or useful to use. - When an enemy player invades your world, it doesn't matter what NG+ level either of you are on. An invader can be on NG+1 and invade somebody in NG+7. They don't know until they get there, and enemies will normally ignore invaders, so it isn't an issue. In this video, all these things come together into something wonderful. The player is in NG+7, and uses Undead Rapport to charm enemies into killing all the invaders that show up. Later on, the world becomes infected with Black Phantom enemies, which get charmed into nigh-unstoppable death machines that tear the invaders to bits.

And from what I had read, as lefty as it may be, the problem is more with a lot of Venezuela's money being locked up in Oil that has, over the past few years,taken a bit of a hit. That and unpopularity among their neighbours and the fact that the current government is, as it were, not living up to the finest ideals of what Socialism should be. It's sad really, I think a lot of it is done with good intentions, or at least not terrible ones, but there appear to be unremitting arses on both sides. That and Ukraine are both nests of loving vipers.

What he did not do what actually save and invest any of those revenues as a hedge against an eventual downturn in oil prices. What he also did was to confiscate massive amounts of agricultural land and turn it over to people who weren't farmers and had no idea how to farm, which is, hey, exactly what Mugabe did in Zimbabwe, exactly what the Khmer Rouge did in Cambodia, exactly what Mao did in China, etc.. He also nationalized/confiscated over 1000 domestic and foreign companies and turned them over to politically-connected cronies who had no idea how to run things like steel plants or water utilities (which is, hey, exactly what Mugabe did in Zimbabwe, exactly what the Khmer Rouge did in Cambodia, etc etc). As a result of that, foreign capital fled Venezuela because there's no reason to invest in industry that the local socialist-dictator is going to confiscate and turn over to his buddies. Which is again exactly what happened in Zimbabwe, oh you know the rest by now. So with development and foreign investment falling faster than WTC7, the country entered into a recession. Manufacturing dropped, construction dropped. And oil revenues dropped because Chavez adhered to the OPEC quotas that he was in large part responsible for instituting. And then when the price of oil fell, they were totally screwed. The bolivar was historically weak before this, but this is when inflation really started to take off, at which point Chavez started doing the next thing from the playbook: ratchet up the planned economy. Threaten to nationalize banks that don't finance products promoted by the government. Set thoroughly ridiculous exchange rates which deeply overvalue your own currency relative to the dollar, which generates huge demand for dollars, which only devalues your currency further. Try to fight inflation through the tried-and-false method of price controls, which ensure that the people who make stuff in your country won't be able to make any more of it, because they can't afford the raw materials from abroad, and won't *want* to make stuff because they can't sell it for enough money to avoid taking a loss (and why would they, when they can just arbitrage the gently caress out of your currency due to your fictitious official exchange rates?). Then, when the price of basic goods keeps going up, implement rationing, which produces a thriving black market where only the politically-connected can afford things like toilet paper and antibiotics. That's about the point at which Zimbabwe went hyperinflationary and started printing hundred-trillion-dollar bills, but Venezuela can't do that because it doesn't run its own mints and doesn't have the money to pay anyone to print new currency. This was all readily visible in 2013. Anyone who knew anything about economics looked at Venezuela and saw another Zimbabwe in the making, it was the exact same series of ridiculous steps taken, then more ridiculous steps to fix the problems caused by the previous steps, and then you repeat until soldiers start firing into crowds. Sirotan's failure to notice that was either sheering ignorance or willful blindness, and it as schadenfreudy as gently caress that his reaction to being called on his bullshit is to delete his FB page and swear off of Twitter. He did everything he could to stop the Challenger loss, was overruled by his management, and was haunted by it for years. That thing is pretty much a death contraption for inexperienced people. The guys who make it look real smooth have been practicing for many years. They don't show the crazy amounts of road rash they got to get to that point.
