 I love Mignola's work so much and I'm sad to see Hellboy in Hell come to an end.  On the other hand, I read Frankenstein Agent of S.H.A.D.E. recently and this depiction of an alleged human child appalled me.

I'm really surprised I've never seen François Schuiten in this discussion, because I think his work is incredible.  He draws these sprawling landscapes and art-déco cities (he's also an architect), but I especially like his characters. It's a very interesting style that works in color as well as in black and white.
