I never finished the game because there is a part where you need a code in the physical game manual to move forward, but we had lost it. my siblings and I loved the game so much that we would just consider that the end and just start over haha. Thinking about it now, maybe that was the world's first DRM. |

Here's one deconstructed, but I think I still have mine somewhere. You'd have to align two of the symbols together and you'd get a code and that would be the code you needed that time to play the game. It was always a different pairing of symbols:

Also, I had this Ninja Turtles game, and in that one, you had these giant pages of codes and the game would ask you to put in a certain code to play the game. The codes were on an 80x8 grid that spanned two pages and each time you wanted to play it, it would give you the coordinates and you'd have to find the right code. |
