I don't necessarily mean for it to be. Sometimes it does something fun and creative, but generally it's kinda bland. So while the other comics I post are bad in (in my opinion) entertaining ways, Dark Side of the Horse is kind of the wild card that may be bad by virtue of disappointment. Also I just wanted to post a Finnish comic I didn't have to translate manually. So on days when DSotH doesn't update, you get Viivi & Wagner.
For the record, I'm ok with you posting whatever you want. I do get a weird entertainment out of bad comics. Tinkersons isn't one of them but maybe one day it will be, and if not I can just scroll past it rather than spend the 20 seconds it takes me to read it.

I genuinely don't hate Vivi & Wagner though. Not sure yet if I like it though.

F Minus actually makes a good point

Mary Worth

OK, granted, it's different and I hate change, but that character doesn't say "Mary Worth" to me. I'm getting more like an Aunt May-vibe. Maybe she's not "mannish" enough?

Comparison:

I like Dawn though. She makes me wish they had handed of A3-G to this artist instead of killing it.

Remember that when someone wrote him asking to get rid of her, he asked the writer if they were ok with killing a kid and included a drawing of Charlotte Braun with an axe in her head.

Edit: A quick search found said letter here on a Peanuts Wiki page.

I like it, it is well drawn. It doesn't get in the way of the story. Now if the writing would change hands...

I'd say the art is worse. The writing is banal, but the art is derivative and just really, really ugly.

I don't know about not being mannish enough, but it's certainly different. And I suspect it's going to continue to be quite jarring as long as they keep the separate artists for weekdays and weekends.

One of the fun things about making your depiction of a hot comic book property so ultra vague is that you can throw anything at it and nobody can say "This doesn't make any sense!" because they've got nothing to build that complaint off of. At least that's the theory, because this sure as hell doesn't make any sense any way you slice it...unless you're with me in thinking that Mason Jarr works for the bottom feeders at The Asylum.

Chap was thrown by the non-realist device of the appearing helmet (meant to represent nerd feeling cool and also reminding the audience who Bobba Fet is, not a literal helmet) and missed the cues of bubble-colour and -shape.
My problem is that Bobba Fet wasn't a spy, he was a bounty hunter. Greentie should have been feeling like, uh... Lando Calrissian. Though on second hand that's a bad idea.
