Yeah, though the design of the suit can vary a lot from picture to picture, with some having it be a sleeveless vest instead of a jacket. For those who don't know, the 2D Final Fantasy's usually would have an additional art team that would do separate character designs for the sprites only partially based off of the actual concept art because Amano's designs were way too intricate to both properly replicate in sprite form and also make them look unique. This is one of the reasons why the sprites for the cast of FF5 look absolutely nothing their official art (for the better too).

Of all the items, Edgar's Drill as a helmet and his AutoCrossbow as body armor end up being some of the best pieces of equipment possible.
