last night, around 4am, my printer randomly warmed up and started printing until it ran out of paper it seems like it was printing what I assume is some kind of postscript file, but as ASCII text so you can see all the header data like code:
no one was doing anything other than sleeping, nothing in the print queue as far as I know because no one has tried to print anything in over a week what the gently caress it's a brother b&w laser printer

what does your system look like that that weird, hacky shell extension was not the immediate, obvious culprit?

i have a case study in front of me that's a complete clusterfuck of data management the gist of it is "you manufacture $widget and all of your sales are through third party distributors. when they make a sale, they notify you to ship $widget to the client", followed by a bunch of methods of contact most of these are various apis, but some are using email what's the cool way to ingest emails into a database these days?

i had to "upgrade " to mac outlook 2016 and now all my automated messages are no longer grouped together, so completely spam my inbox. is there a way to tell outlook that emails with the same subject are part of a single conversation, and would thusly be grouped into one tiny piece of my screen real estate? alternately can applescript or something be used to listen for mark as read events and trigger some code to move the message elsewhere? outlooks rules dont work at all. i want a event listener onread so i can make my email usuable again
