I spent my money on Hyper Light Drifter, which is good, and that one RPG by the Skullgirls people which is already in a playable state and has absolutely gorgeous 2d animation(and not constantly horny animation like Skullgirls)

I watched the new Mno9 trailer on mute and taken in that way it looked like an okay showcase of the game. The "shoot dudes a few time so you can dash into them" mechanic still seems like an iffy choice in terms of the flow of the game compared to other Mega Men tho

Can someone explain and articulate how and why the lighting on the models is so terrible, with that weird halo/white edge shading thing around them? I hate it, but I can't seem to think of a way to adequately describe it or what stupid loving effect to attribute it to.
