For those of you not used to Steam chat rooms; if people aren't responding or someone in the chat list says offline, you're in a ghost chat. Just exit chat and re-enter. If you're still not sure, your can click on the arrow at the top of screen to view the group profile. Compare the amount of people it lists in chat to the actual amount you see. Ghost chats are a frequent thing. EDIT: I'm so lonely

However, Redline saved the day, and I beat Major Isoor 100-60 And a few people got to see me throw a tantrum about TTS, because I really do loving hate its interface and it causes me to make dumb mistakes.

In the end one of the deciding factors for me, was that I somehow managed to not copy+paste the 'punishing one' title across from the builder to TTS, so I effectively had a 12pt initiative bid (and this wasn't noticed by either of us until around halfway through) My list (and failed last-turn revenge shot, leaving Redline on one hull) Would've posted Deviant's list too, however I somehow uploaded my own twice and deleted his (along with my already-uploaded list) afterwards...clearly I'm off to a good start, today

I know I'm a bit late but the best part of paying X-Wing minis is putting your personal touch on them. I've done my own version of Red Ace and added accents on other ships so that it's easier for me to identify them. I've switched from oil-based to acrylics and holy moly is it easy to work with. No more using paint thinner or getting lightheaded from being so close to the paint fumes.

ETX Report: I flew OL/"Whisper" and Inky list. First match was a no-show, so I won my first round by default. I played a for fun game against someone else who had a no show, who had twin bro bos who destroyed me pretty bad. One I flew against a decimator (Chendau) with a fellow phantom. They managed to destroy Whisper in one shot, while cloaked (!) with a pretty lucky shot, and then darth vadered my entire fleet into submission. I felt like I did better in my third game against another tie swarm, which was using some FO aces (Zeta and Omega I think) with the low-PS Advanced prototype, Howllrunner and Youngster (with expose) I believe.. They took out the phantom, but I also took out about 2 of theirs, and the O and Z were badly injured, but I lost my last ship before I could finish them off. At that point there were going to be 2 more rounds of swiss, but I was a bit burned out and wanted to do other things at the expo, so I just dropped out, at 1-3. I did get a neat alt text Herra card as a participation prize,.

Got second at a spring kit tourney with OL/wampa/inq/palp yesterday. Still getting used to the mindset of the list. For the meantime, I am destroying a Gozanti edition tie fighter for this:  Lost the pink texture cuz I started blending it by accident (it's automatic by now). Oh well. Alright, game verse Gerdalti just finished up. I won 100-77, was a super close match like pretty much every match so far has been haha. He almost had my entire 3 ship list ionized at once due to his ridiculous double tapping target locking ghost but a boring old TLT Y-Wing managed to pull out the victory. I'll PM you my list shortly Strobe (it's just my week 1 list again)

Emon, like Deathrain, has the right pilot skill and pilot ability to be pretty good at dropping bombs! But, like Deathrain, Emon really suffers from the fact that bombs are pretty poo poo. You pretty much need to decide if you want Emon to be a generic pilot (including swarms) hunter or an ace hunter. That determines your choice of bomb(s). If you're hunting aces, you want Connor Nets. Period. And since it takes an action to drop those, you want crew that removes the need to take actions. Consider Dengar. If you're hunting generics, you probably want Thermal Detonators. Proton Bombs are too expensive, and don't give you any way to follow up on the attack. Thermals leave the enemy stressed, so you can be pretty sure you'll get another shot. As for escorts, consider the bombs you've equipped and take ships that can capitalize on them (while avoiding their effects).

And thanks for the practice against contracted scouts! That list I'm flying is my competitive list. I'm comfortable with Imperial Aces and Crack Shot swarms (unless they're A-Wings, then fuuuuuuck), but jumpmasters just aren't that popular at my local store. Got a guy who plays Dengar + Manaroo (and he beat me in a very close game at a tourney on Saturday), but that's really nothing like a list with two+ missile scouts. My goals were a) Drag you through the rocks to deny actions or shots b) Get up in your business until one of them died c) Disengage with the wounded decimator and make you chase it...through the rocks again I managed to pull all of those off, and I was really happy about it. Take this screenshot, for example.  It may look like the Decimator is in a really bad place, but it's not! Both incoming shots are unmodifieid, due to stress. The slaver bumps (and thus loses action) next turn for every possible move except a 3 right bank, which I think you took. And that was ok, because the deci would be out of arc. The bottom scout likewise has no move that leaves them with actions (you took a two right sloop, which was stressful). I didn't think it would even FIT, so good flying there. I was expecting a 3 bank to be sure you cleared. The top scout can right turn, focus, and possibly have a missile shot on the Inquisitor (which is what happened). It could have 2 left slooped to get arc on the deci, but it would still be stressed, so I figured you'd take the turn. Quiz 3-forward, and was too close to missile. Tokened up to avoid the range 1 shot.

ro5s > Herux 100-0 First round of shots has my inq on a rock but he was full tilt after shuttle. got both whisper and vader to 2 hp within 2 rounds and NEVER hit them again. GGs. Def tired of running palp assholes so looking forward to this weeks list. Hey Battuta leave me a message on steam of when you would be available to play! I can do most nights late EST 10pm-12 or weds 7:30pm-12.
