Ok then, contemporary fantasy. Either way, it's the same universe where Mandrake hypnotises with a wave of his hand, has a 400-odd year old dad and meets weird frog aliens. Normal constraints of physics do not apply.

Starting today, the Comics Kingdom vintage section is going to start running Jungle Jim, a jungly adventure strip from the 30's by Alex Raymond, notable for such strips as motherfuckin' Flash Gordon, Secret Agent X--9, and Rip Kirby. I don't intend to post this regularly since I already post more comics than I can easily keep up with, but I thought I might post a few anyway just to give the thread a taste. Maybe somebody will decide they like it and want to keep posting it themselves. Jungle Jim WELL GOLLY. Worst Comic in the Thread, or, Gasoline Alley I have absolutely no clue what’s up with the giant pig head sneaking up on Booger. Still, it’s nice to see that his parents still make him wear his name on his shirt every day. Makes it easier for the other kids to remember to call him Booger.
