I remember trying to watch the NLDS with my parents over skype last year, and depending on whether I had standard video enabled or not I was either ~10 seconds behind or ~10 seconds ahead of the TV broadcast my parents were watching. It was really annoying because either way, one of us was spoiling the game for the other.

I would think you would see more of a designated emergency long relief guy from the last man standing. Then again, could just do the standard of leaving one off.

I don't see why. Have your top 4 be the rotation since you get days 3 and 6 (NLDS) and days 3 and 7 (NLCS, WS) off as travel days and if you really want all 5 starters available you can just designate your #4 and #5 to be interchangeable long relief guys for scramble situations like games 2 and 4 of the NLDS last year
