Basically, presigning depends on the player. If I presign and can't give the game any attention, I'll back off. Otherwise, I'll keep with it.

so I was thinking about how I seem to have gotten the moniker of biggest rear end in a top hat in Mafia and I was thinking I'm pretty nice and then I considered that the title for my LAN thread is "gently caress you ignorant rear end holes you're all dumb as poo poo"

God I had such a long day that was also pretty frustrating. I am volunteering at a conference and was supposed to be working the registration desk from 1:00-4:00 with this other woman, although we were doing setup since 9am. Except this other woman didn't show up until almost 3 and then by that point I had managed a system that was working really well to make sure everyone got all their stuff and were checked off the appropriate lists and they gave me money if they needed. But then she comes in and just starts giving them their bags and they walk away without half the things they needed and I never saw them, or she'd see someone she knew and would just chat them up while the registration line grew because she was now blocking the bags. Later she was joking being like "oh I have to check with the boss, she's in charge ha ha ha" about me when someone was asking if they had everything they needed. It's like, I'm not doing this to be bossy, I'm doing this to be a loving professional and make sure 200 people get everything they need. Ended up working the desk until 7pm until finally someone came over and asked me if I had had dinner yet, since there was a reception dinner going on around us. But didn't really have more than 5 minutes to eat because despite explaining my system they needed my help so much I just ended up going back to the desk. Is a little professionalism and organization too much to ask? Apparently.
