I put 32gb of ram in my late 2015 mac, why does it take like 8 seconds to wake up from sleep. upgraded from a late 2008 model that didn't do that.

At some point the laptops started hibernating instead of suspending so you don't lose your work if you run out of battery while it's sleeping. It has to flush the RAM to disk and load it back in when you open the lid, which takes longer the more you have. siri on the mac seems loving pointless because if you have a real keyboard then why would you want to basically voice dictate your queries like anything that siri is doing there's no reason that spotlight shouldn't be doing it
