Last time I loaded the game, I undocked, saw a bunch of reds on station waiting to shoot me. I warped to an insta bookmark and that was it. The only people who get killed on the undock are those who try to play stupid games, don't have an insta or in my case once or twice, undocked, Alt-tabbed and forgot I was playing EVE.

Micromanaging fighters well is probably the most challenging thing in PvP right now. 5 carriers vs 15ish ships should have been a slaughter. 2 carriers vs. 30 ships is going to get slaughtered. A single carriers can kill about 3.5 ships (with no wasted vollies) before they have to recall their fighters to reload. A group of carriers can probably just delete 8 ships from grid and let gun damage take over, and refuel/reload one at a time. Booshing fighters away shouldn't matter because fighters do 10k m/s with their MWD running

Did you look at the damage? They were killed mostly by the citadel, not the confessors. Confessors don't need to sit around getting munched on by fighters when a citadel is around for dps.
