Making you crowfall, shroud of the avatar the next crowdfunding star citizen

The community and virtuous funding cycle Roberts has created for the game wouldn't be possible without the proprietary fundraising service Roberts' team built. Now, given the service's success, he's planning to offer a platform to other entrepreneurs who want to bypass traditional crowdfunding sites that can gather and collect contributions, integrate a community and—if it's an evolving software product—act as the place to get the most recent downloads. In essence, a hub for the entirety of the project, from campaign to shipped product.

"We're actually in the process of setting up a separate entity to deal with [licensing our platform]," Roberts said. It's vertically integrated—built around a single campaign, though not necessarily gaming—whereas most crowdfunding platforms are designed to handle many different types of projects, but only in the fundraising aspect.

A media piece a couple of years ago spoke about CIG & Turbulent putting together a service to sell to other game companies to kickstart projects, the TOS might be part of that. Not sure I remember what the piece looked like now but it's mentioned in one of the old threads.

Sounds as if they're planning on competing with Kickstarter or something, it's just very strange.

Citizens would argue that the platform contributes to game funding since they'll be able to charge for it I guess. I'm pretty sure this was mentioned in Chris' exchange with the Escapist

EXPECTED RESULT

The armor should have the correct look.
I would have expected not to see an extra object randomly spawned below the main landing pads.
If the room is being evacuated, you wouldn't see water vapour pouring INTO the room. In fact, you wouldn't SEE much happening at all (although I get the need for some kind of visual feedback in a game).
I would have expected the dish shaped objects to be connected to the frame work in a more realistic way with out the visible clipping.
I should be able to join the PU.
Roughly same FPS in Universe as in Hangar
Well the expected result is not a crash.
Gimbals should rotate with aim
When being spawned into the Dying star map in VS Coop,I would have expected that the random spawn point would automatically avoid existing map assets like an asteroid.
dead bodies piled up at air lock.
You should be able to add weapons back to your turret.
The plan is of course that the bridge is solid enough to bear the weight of a space (wo)man.
entering shipdeck
All guns should still have their iron sights and scopes
to not clip through the ship.
The door to the space suit shop should have opened and I should have been able to walk into it. The game also shouldn't have crashed.
I should be able to select the PU from the main menu and go there with no problem.
To not have the animation allow clipping into other ships.
Smooth Entry/exit transition.
I expect to see my cutlass red in any of my hangers.
Bar tender should have kicked me out, or at least paid me for my time.
dot should still be there
Should exit into EVA in a smooth manner and not at a high velocity like an ejection seat.
Ship should not spawn if the space is occupied by another vehicle
It's a small thing where some people like to take in all the details of the game and you notice the light in the floor lamp should fit the size of the cover.
helmet should be straight and not blocking vision
Game renders in DPI that fits actual display dimensions.
Should have been able to exit seat normally and move to exit ship as planned.
purchased item goes into inventory
Exit Q drive safely
Should not have gone into T pose, or have to respawn
expect to be able to land properly and access cryo astro services
I should have been able to get out of the ship.
I get on my ship and stay there.
the blur goes away
I expected to enter the ship.
Ideally, the use button should appear on the correct object regardless of ship velocity.
Ammo should be loaded into ships guns.
To step in my ship without my head merging with the interior and/or murdering me.
