I'd argue the majority of the skins suck actually but the particularly good ones are american pornstar soldier (literally every other soldier skin is aids), cartel assassin reaper, hockey lucio, posh tracer, pirate toblerone, banana winston, and bird Zenyatta

So if you're solo queueing because you want to stink it up learning new characters without letting your friends list down, and you're an actual human being and not a douchebag, how do you join a game and watch no one choose a tank or healer and then resist the compulsion to pick one yourself in order to, y'know, win, when you're really trying to practice your D.VA or whatever?

Remind yourself of this: If you are low enough on the MMR ladder that your team doesn't naturally gravitate to an actually balanced composition, then you are low enough on the MMR ladder that you can win solely by individual skill on nearly any hero.

I'm not gonna be happy until I can play as a dog in this game now. Other character ideas: velociraptor that has machine guns on the sides and can jump far vending machine on wheels that distributes health and damage boost sodas to allies middle aged man in a bumper car that shoots electricity at people children's birthday party clown who throws grenade pies and squirts acidic seltzer water at enemies highschool shop teacher who fights with power tools

I actually had a good game as McCree today. Two, in fact! Could it be that I'm actually moving him out of my "sucks at" category? Thanks to a pair of helpful Symmetras, I, as Pharah got "The Path is Closed" achievement on Volskaya attack, killing 6 of 7 total teleporters the enemy used. I'm unsure if the 7th used up all 6 charges or if a teammate got it. It was actually pretty close too since I did a Justice From above in overtime on the first point, realizing too late there was no one there. Thankfully my teammates were there to ensure we didn't run out of time.

I think both of Junkrat's model swaps are kind of stupid and ugly but to be fair I think literally everything about Junkrat and his aesthetic is stupid and ugly. It's extremely appropriate that Junkrat's alternate costumes are a clown and a scarecrow because he's always seemed to me like a lovely low-rent Batman villain who should be on a T-shirt in a Hot Topic next to a TV that just shows the Suicide Squad trailer on loop. New to the game, just started playing yesterday but it's been pretty fun so far despite quick play being a poo poo-show a lot of the time. Junkrat, Pharah, and Zenyatta are my favorites out of the gate. Got the Junkrat exploding tire achievement to win us the game which was awesome as our team was having trouble taking the last objective and I managed to back door a tire into the enemy team and kill 4 of them in one shot. One question I have is about I'mproving my game. Is there a good resource that people use to learn tactics / strategy for Overwatch? Tried googling but only found a bunch of crappy guides.

Goons, I know you like to suddenly have some really important IRL to do and all flee groups as soon as we lose, but maybe losing two KotH rounds where both teams were near 99% and it went into Overtime isn't a sign that "your group completely sucks and there's no hope for these people". Every loving other goon group I get in seems to magically have infinite time for game after game when we're winning, but falls apart as soon as we lose one game, no matter how close it was.

Alternatively, if you find yourself in a skirmish ("Waiting..."), pick whatever hero you're trying to work on and go play around with them. Alternatively, you just missed Mystery Heroes week, where no one expects you to be good at every hero.
