Trump could definitely Trump his way out of a bump, but generally it's a week of nothing in the news but the RNC giving itself and it's candidate blow jobs. Similarly Hillary's bump is largely going to be from wall to wall coverage of Democrats talking about how awesome they are. Has there been any research into the magnitude of the bump over time as the Convention has become less and less important to the media? TV News covers it less and less it seems and people have so many more options to spend their time that it seems like the week long puff piece should be reaching less and less people.
