Toyota were off pace last year, but previous to that it was a year by year increase in competitiveness for them. And frankly, between their pace and ability to go a lap further than Audi or Porsche, I think it is their race to lose right now.

Yeah I think they have the best combination of speed and efficiency so they would be my favorites. Keep in mind that only one Toyota has actually made it through both WEC races so far without a huge mechanical issue, so that will obviously be the big question mark as it is every year for this race.

Is Jamie Howe a former driver? If not, why is she being used as a color analyst? Looks like the broadcast crews for this are Varsha/Fish/Kendall, Till/Pruett/Howe.

There's been surprisingly little hilarity of any kind. I mean Krohn spun but.... you know. The only actual CRASH has been a Porsche.

And it's worth noting the 2015 TS040 was still 2 seconds a lap faster than the previous year, but the other two found about 6 seconds over that winter.

If you're listening/watching the RLM feed just pause it until the clocks sync. I've had to resync a few times but it's fine.

If a driverless car does anything even slightly wrong during an event of this size it'd probably wreck the whole concept the world over.
