Unsure what cost them the first hour-plus, RLM speculated battery issues, but the most recent time in the pits was apparently the water pump. Also good lord the official feed commentary is loving dire. I'm sticking with RLM.

The 2 car somehow lost over a minute and is now third. The WEC commentators think he spun but the tv feed said the spinner was the 12, who is now in the garage, but maybe they both spun because there's no other explanation as to how he dropped to 3rd. Also the 5 car is now in the best spot to win as the 6 is damaged. This race man, holy gently caress e: oh the 2 had a puncture and had to make another stop at the same time the 12 spun.
