People put emphasis on words sure, but when you bold them like comics do it sounds like they're simply raising their voice. Plus they bold like three words in every sentence which makes it lose meaning.

Comics are just really bad at choosing what should be emphasized in a sentence, to the point that it may as well be random. Bolding usually implies yelling!
