I just played a game on Hanamura as Lucio where my entire team was spamming ultimates on overtime trying to capture the point, myself included. I used an ultimate going in and got two ultimates out of the nonstop brawl until we finally won. It was nuts. A cool thing I found as Lucio is that if you finish your amp by switching to speed and bunny hopping, you'll maintain the momentum even if you switch back to healing. It's great to reach a destination much faster or just being hard to hit in general. Also, fist bump.

So I just bought this game and Zarya is easily the character I've been best with. Played through several matches and really liked the mix of team-buff, strong staying power, and decent sustained damage. Since I'm terrible at these games, she's probably due for a nerf, right? And tell me basic tips to be better with her, goons! Or other characters to try, I suppose.

If you want to try the PTR, you can copy and paste the 'data' folder from your main overwatch folder to the overwatch test folder (that appears once you press install) to severely cut down your download time. Went from 6GB download to just 850mb this way. I'm going to try the controller improvements for my console bros, I remember trying it at a friend's on PS4 and I was absolutely appalled by how awful it feels. It's the most sluggish aiming since Killzone 2.

loving around with Hanzo in the brawl since the game so kindly dropped the wolf skin, I really think the arrow flight time is a bit high, increasing velocity by 50% might help, as well as reducing the movement penalty while drawing, at least in exchange for making Hanzos arrow hitbox less ridiculous.

I have every single non-broken achievement (Lockdown), and Zen's Rapid Discord is impossible to do legit. His transcendence isn't bad if the group goes 2-3 tanks or stands near you. The problem is that everyone wants to play flankers or ranged and stand far away and usually run away when an ult is coming your way. Your best bet is a final escort push against an enemy Zarya/Hanzo and having your ult ready for their wombo combo. As for Rapid Discord, I joined a Rapid Discord group to try to get it, with full coordination, and we couldn't do it. We tried Widows, Roadhogs, reapers, and the orb just travels too slow and the enemy won't stand in a nice line waiting for you. Even Zarya ult is too chaotic to try and aim or get close enough for travel time to be cut down. We then managed to spend about an hour getting in a 12-man game, and it still took some people 2-3 tries to get it, with ALL 12 people coordinating (4-5 tracers, 1 reaper 1-shotting them, and Zen discording them). There's just no way you can legit get in the enemy's face, stand in front of 4-6 of them, apply discord orb to each, and have a teammate 1shot them in the exact order that you place the orb without getting killed, getting it done out of order, having someone die before you can discord them, etc.

If you drop MMR like a lot and get thrown into some terrible game you can just spam headshots as zenyatta and get the 1500 healing chiev in like 30s after joining.
