Heroes is quite a bit better than Shadow. This isn't high praise, however, because Shadow is really, really bad. The major things dragging Heroes down are most Chaotix missions, too many enemy rooms and bosses that take too long to kill, the absurd amount of bugs, and flight mode being really janky.

There's BINGO on the table. I got all the a ranks in heroes when it came out. Somehow I still like the game and I even replayed it earlier this month.

Heroes is really bad, but it's biggest sin is being boring I somewhat recently (half a year ago) played through shadow, having not played it as a kid, and that is genuinely one of the worst games I have ever played. Even after getting one of the endings my ability to control shadow was tenuous at best, and despite going in thinking I'd want to grab several endings to laugh at the edge, I had to quit because I was tired of every section of mildly difficult platforming making me feel like I was having a heart attack when shadow would go 30 feet in a given direction instead of 3, ultimately into a bottomless abyss.
