Serious question: Why is Scott Adams so clever in Dilbert, but incredibly stupid whenever he opens his mouth otherwise? I've seen plenty of disconnects between the quality of an artist and the quality of their art, but Adams seems completely detached from reality.

I had to go into work to day to deal with backed-up sewer pipes. I spent my afternoon hauling buckets of human poo poo out of the basement. I had a half hour drive back home wearing nothing but my underwear because I threw out the clothes I was wearing after they got befouled.
This was still the best day of my week.

Also, it's a running gag in Buni that the dog is a total badass -- I know I've posted comics with him surfing a volcanic eruption and stopping a thunderstorm by throwing one of the lightning bolts back. So it makes sense that his fleas are equally tough.

This cartoon reminds me that when I was a kid, one of the first disappointments I had with the real world was finding out how non-sticky those suction cup darts really are. If you weren't shooting them dead straight onto a glass surface, they weren't sticking anywhere.
