Ever heard of Bob Riggle? How about the Hemi Under Glass? OK I get it you're probably not drag racing fans. Surely, you're familiar with Jay Leno. He and Bob take the old Hemi Under Glass wheelstander for a spin, and things get interesting.

You could tell Bob was as embarrassed as he was stunned. Why they did that there and not on a drag strip is sort of baffling.

Festival of Speed happened if you want to see good hillclimbs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9J0eakk2Kg The McLaren P1 LM destroys the road car Goodwood hillclimb record with a 47.07. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViDP0ZH3mm0 And then a Subaru time attack car destroys that time with a 46.29

I can report that Ford Ganassi US and Risi Ferrari have buried the hatchet and are friends here at Watkins Glen. Which is good because they are right opposite each other in the paddock! Corvette Racing did not want to talk about Le Mans. They obviously wouldn't say anything official about a mid-engined C8 but I think reading between lines I think there's a chance it might finally happen. Weather is a thousand times better than last year.

the mid engine C8 is the worst kept secret in cars right now they should just own it e- tbh I think they are gonna be dumb and make a brand of it, so they won't be Chevy Corvette, they'll be Corvette C7 and C8 respectively

Also I'd bet the mid-engine change was heavily influenced from Pratt and Miller.

CactusWeasle posted:Formula E just had both title contenders crash into each other in the first corner I was wondering why they were both at the back, so this race has become a hotlap contest between the 2. Also apparently laps done with FanBoost don't count for fastest lap in this race? Man has this season been disappointing. Meanwhile the entire GTD field in IMSA is in a single pack for the lead. E: lmao just saw the replay, Di Grassi straight up loving rammed him into the escape road in the first corner. njsykora fucked around with this message at 16:21 on Jul 3, 2016 |
