Gonna buy an NX at launch because I am a consumer whore and I love Nintendo systems and games. The fact that it is launching with a Zelda game is a bonus.

Second, developers who work on 3ds games have expertise in a completely different code base or whatever. Regardless of what the NX is, I really really hope that it isn't anything VR related. Is there at least some kind of confirmation that the NX is gonna be a gaming console and not like a VR Headset type add-on thing?

I really can't imagine Nintendo making a bid for VR at this point. They're focusing on gaining lost ground, and VR is still such a dodgy prospect.

"That's why we can't share anything at this point, and I don't want to comment on the other companies. If it was just a matter of following advancements in technology, things would be coming out a lot quicker." The NX is either going to be earth shattering revolutionary or a tremendous let down what with all the secrecy and hype and then *fart*. Can't wait for September. Nintendo's VR will be out when all the other ones have their footholds on the market and it'll be the only one that actively prevents you using it for porn so there won't be any point to it.

Remember a few years ago when after Wii Fits success Nintendo was swearing that the future was in health and medical equipment and nothing came of it aside from the cancelled vitality sensor? Things got really weird before that Amiibo money started rolling in.

I stood in one of those really long lines for the launch of the Wii with some buddies. I got the Wii but when I got it home and tried to update the firmware it turned out I got one of the consoles in which the networking capabilities permanently got hosed up when you tried to update. I had to send it in and by the time I got my replacement I lost all interest. Thank you for reading my story

I remember, when I was in college, I was working a lab about holograms. The premise behind capturing a holographic photograph is really cool. Now you've made me hope the NX involves holographs, even though it's not commercially feasible yet. I hope you're happy.

I want another console Monster Hunter game  . Zelda+Pikmin 4 would probably be enough for me to pick up an NX at launch. Preferably there would be another game or two I would be interested in as well. Prior to E3 I was leaning towards not getting an NX at launch, but Zelda won me over.
