WilliamAnderson posted:stopppppppppppppppppppppppp V2 borders kill me It's Clio's fault, I think. A lot of those borders are precisely the actual contemporary internal borders of the states of the time, which makes everything very neat and pretty so long as sticks exactly to history with no deviations, but means a lot of the provinces are these bizarre, stretched-out spindly things with insane adjacency graphs. I like my border fjords more than probably anyone on earth, but you need to keep that poo poo on the micro scale. On the macro scale, you want provinces to be as close to perfect hexagons as humanly possible or the border gore gets stupid fast. The other 40% of the problem is the "can only take entire states" rule. You ever had a game where China loses Tannu Tuva to Russia, then gets it back later on?

Canada, China, Norway etc. I know there are mods, but they are not of the same quality. It will be really interesting to see If they keep a tight focus or open up the game.

Hey Darkrenown, are you guys avoiding the Hearts of Iron thread? Because it's a pretty positive thread (unlike reddit or the forums) and we're having a lot of fun with the game. I noticed no Paradox goons have posted in awhile and I'm worried you guys got scared away or something. There were a few hiccups right after launch, but I think we all generally agree the game is pretty good. Please don't leave us.

Well I am, not due to any problems with it, but since you guys all have the game now you know as much or more than I do having last worked on/played it in Autumn 2015. Like Groogy says, holidays are coming up and Podcat is super busy patching, which is probably why he hasn't posted much.

It's still seems so weird that your entire company goes on vacation at once. Honestly it's probably better than how we Americans take time off at the most inconvenient of work times, screwing over the rest of our coworkers in the process. There's always that one person taking three weeks off right before a project deadline. Or the worst: everyone but you is on vacation.
