A couple of the Alguaciles in Icestorm are known to have the arms incorrectly matched up to the torso guides. You will have to use a bit of greenstuff to fill a gap either at the wrist or the shoulder. Just lump a little bit in there with your superglue, and smooth it off. It may be easier to clip or file down the little guide pegs (which are meant to help you fit correctly on most models) first, but it shouldn't make a huge difference.

just gotta say the new mag guard is a pretty amazing model to put together, i thought it would be a pinning nightmare but half of it barely needs glue! heavy though.

The brown haired Alguacile's left arm didn't want to fit with the torso cleanly, and made it difficult to make the pose look right. No matter how I tried, I ended up with a gap under the shoulder pad. A little greenstuff and some heavy shadows hopefully covered most of it up. I've heard some of the older models can be tough to put together. Anyone here have any experience with the sputniks or zonds? I kind of want to get some drones next.

Got a box of Xeodron Batdroids! And I got repeat torsoes so I could only build one, because the arms and legs are socketed differently. Submitted my mispack email, does anyone know how long this process takes?

It can take a few days, CB seem to react pretty quickly at the start of the week and slow down as the week goes on, but it shouldn't take more than a week for it to be on its way to you.

Oh man. Just got back from my first legit game. The community at the FLGS were super nice, and even offered to lend me a few minis so I could bump my 150 point army to a more respectable 200. Played against a dude with Vanilla Yu Jing, who had mounted his figures on torn chunks of painted cork-board with little spots of pink flock. Looked like they were standing on slabs of rocks with fallen cherry blossoms around them. It was very appropriate for his army, and looked fantastic. We played the ITS mission where there are 4 consoles you have to grab, and then end-game you also tally up quadrant control. It was fun and led to a mad-dash for quadrant denial in the last turn. I was in the lead for a bit but he long-distance Forward Observed me and got his Telemetry (I think?) Secret Objective, and the game ended in a tie. Some highlights included me using Cybermask on my Interventor to sneak up close to his Yuan Hao that was denying me access to two consoles. Once close, I hid in cover, and sent my Fast Panda up nice and close and Immobilized his rear end. The Yuan Hao was pretty much out of the game at that point. It was so satisfying. My TR Zond was kind of useless, and got exploded by a missile in turn one. My Intruder, however, was probably MVP. That MSV2 and camo is soooo useful. Dude is tougher than you'd think, too. He survived what must have been 6 or 7 different rounds of people shooting at him before he finally kicked the bucket. I think it was 2 coordinated orders directed solely at him, and then a couple other orders as well. Posthumous medals will be issued, for sure. All-in-all I had a fantastic time. Had my first game of Infinity in months and ended up in a vanilla Combined, long range slugfest. My opponent was parading around an Anathematic before the game which ended up being a proxy for a double sniper Xeodron and hoo boy do those things pack a nasty punch. Ended up out dueling it with a Haiduk of all things and La Muet locked down half the board after clearing out the rest of the ranged threats. Dude is ridiculous.

Ariadna Scout bags Phoenix in ARO with his trusty Ojotnik. Mmmyes. Crits with Shock amMO is just so devestating against a force that relies on dogged and NWI. Uxia also went on a murder spree killing Acmon, a Dactyl doctor and wounding Ajax. I also traded a Grunt with HMG for an agema with Mk12 and a TR bot. So Im going to be teaching a few people Infinity. Going to be doing operation ice storm. IIRC operation icestorm uses a weird form of camo and airdrop. Once operation icestorm is done what are the next steps? Anything to watch out for when doing operation icestorm?

Icestorm is pretty good, been a while since I've run it myself (I tend to fob it off on my other players  ) after Icestorm I'd probably go straight to 200pt games and start working my way up slowly.

I find for brand new players 100-150 is a decent starting point. It's enough for one 40 point HI some cheerleaders and one model with fancy rules like camo or air drop. I prefer to start with the full rules, because if you're going to dive in then you might as well use the deep end. I was fortunate to play with very knowledgeable players to start though, and so I learned a lot quickly. Just pull your punches and play for the coolest outcome possible rather than trying to win. It's a showcase battle, not a tournament. But what ever you find easiest - YMMV.

I wouldn't be too worried, Having burst 3 missile launchers and plasma sniper rifles in the reactive turn and giving them shock and the ability to ignore cover on the active turn I think makes up for our Unidrons not having a combi rifle standard. Holy poo poo. There were 17 people at the store for the start of the league tonight. I don't think we've ever had that many concurrent games of Infinity going before. Got some table pictures:     I played on the last two; one tight table and one open table. Stuff mostly performed as expected, though I really missed suppression fire. Indeed, the game that I won happened by forcing my opponent to confront my Nexus' suppression fire.

Maybe it's just the hyper-aggressive way I play Yu Jing, but the combi-rifle Shikami seems like it is a completely broken model for it's points. If you remove long range threats from the table (Something super easy to do by just trading away Ninja/Aragato Spitfires), then they pretty much cannot be stopped, and can complete objectives. It's one of the most mobile units in the game, AND has ODD, AND is a specialist. It's an unrepentant monster, and if it gets within melee distance of a heavier target, it'll kill them, too.

Will the same sculpt Ahl Fassed be available later? Because man, I'd really love it, but already have 3 rifle Ghulams from the starter (none of the others, though) and no current need for Yu Jing. I already have Haqq and some USAriadna, and even that's pushing it given how rarely I get to play.

Mind-blowing quality on that starter set. Amazing to compare the new Ninja sculpt to the previous version, which was one of the older models in the line. Suppose you can say the same for a lot of the YJ minis, and although you could say the world-class paintjobs help them look good, the details are absolutely spectacular IMO. My temptation to start a 2nd faction continues . . .

Everything in that is amazing. Including the Yuan Yuan; he probably pillaged that shotgun at some point. And I can always use more basic Ghulam infantry. I'm already using my old Halqa as Ghulams and find myself wanting more. That Haqq character spec op looks hot, too (in every sense). e: Well, the more I think about it, the only Haqq mini I really really want from that is the Tuareg. Not because I field Tuareg snipers, but because it's an amazing model. The rest are good to very good and I'd get use out of them, but they don't compel me to buy.
