The Colonel posted:the idea is that the weak points are where the bosses store the biometals but it's just so weird being punished for something that most games would reward you for Not hitting the weak points is the optional challenge. The only thing you lose for not doing the challenge is a bit of energy crystal grinding to up the marginally useful special weapon energy or refighting the boss later for a better score, and a little toy of the boss in your very good friend Prairie's room. I think it's a pretty good way of adding some optional challenge, and better than doing what Zero did with locking cool EX moves behind A or S ranks. But then I also think the charged saber slash was kind of a mistake. chumbler fucked around with this message at 09:01 on Jul 1, 2016 |

If there was any justice in the world Uchikoshi would get the kind of budget for his games that David Cage does

The Zero Escape games incorporate existential philosophy and game theory and very clearly draw upon the huge amount of science fiction that has been written in the last ~150 years to try and make something new. David Cage thinks his new game is unique because unlike Blade Runner his game isn't about how robots are evil What I'm saying is that Zero Escape accomplishes everything David Cage has ever tried to do but about a million times better

It turns out that visual novels are the medium that games should be looking toward to figure out how to do more interesting stories instead of film

I wish Vagabond hadn't been so drat *long* because it was one of the first ones I ever bought, then I got like 20 volumes in and it just kept going and my money didn't.

I'm at my cousin's in New York City and I've read about 4 out of the 10 huge volumes. When I have to leave and I'm not done I'll be sad. At my comic book store they were selling the entire back half of Berserk for 50% off and I didn't buy it since I only had the first volume. My wallet was very thankful. I hope the anime is good. At least the cgi seems better done

I forgot they put out another edition with omnibus volumes. Might have to switch to those and try to catch up on it sometime, it is a really good series.
