Looks like a Keeshond. Smart dogs that you have to keep stimulated or they get jerky and destructive. Great dogs if your household can do that. Lots of personality.

Very playful, or at least he was before he entered into full-blown old man mode. Also extremely gentle and tolerant. Basically a shorter, stumpier, wider, dumber husky. Good dog, would own again.

I know this thread is mostly about cute pets and stuff, but I'm having a cute crisis about my parents. Took this picture of them last night. They've been together for 47 years, so 5 years longer than I've been alive. If they have ever had a major argument, I've never been aware of it. They still call each other by pet names occasionally. Last night, after a fireworks thing, they sat out together just watching the lake. Hanging out with them on the porch after, dad got tired and asked mom to scoot over a bit so he could lie down, laid his head in her lap, and was snoring within a minute. Love 'em so much, and they are super cute together.

The Boon Lott's Elephant Sanctuary is one of my favorite Facebook pages. They rescue Thai elephants and give them a good home. It's maybe a little bad timing to share it now, because one of their elephants is very sick, but maybe they can get some of that goon love in their time of need. Bonus: They just raised enough money to build an enclosure for their first rescued crocodile. His name is Jerry.
