There's a legitimate discussion to be had about the role that secular dictators have played in the stability or instability of the middle east, but I will never not be skeeved the gently caress out by a presidential candidate whole-hog praising dictators like Saddam for their brutishness and ask-no-questions-gently caress-you attitude.
