I'm waiting for one single piece of innovation. Where is it? Even if it's in one of their """""""concept"""""""" videos?
Where is it?

Disco Lando said to the whole Star Citizen community just yesterday, "Show don't TELL" - so show me? Where is it?
Where is it?

If someone tells me "the CONCEPT is innovative" they will literally be laughed off the internet.

i like it when they call it an investment and then casually go "well win some lose some its a risk"

As if losing 100% of your "investment" is a common occurrence.

Even in the best case scenario, they're just going to get a video game. You're not exactly gonna send the kids to college with that

But then again, who will need college when we're all living in the 'verse? Those kids will be the haves and all us skeptics who didn't buy in early enough will be the have-nots

All those people have 'invested' all that money in Chris Roberts, and the only innovation that has occurred is that PayPal won't chargeback crowdfunding payments anymore

well yea the whole investment argument is retarded to begin with. But extra retarded because they think investments are like betting on black on roulette.

Honestly they seem like preorders pretty straightforward, at least for game packages and ships. I paid for access to a game and digital goods to use in the game. Preorders by precedent are refundable according to several cases. Its not a donation. You clearly pick out what game package and ship you want, then buy it. Its not like the loving red cross where you just cut them a check. "well theyre gonna use it on development, its a donation".. Well no poo poo poo poo for brains. Every company uses the revenue it receives to make products. CIG is not unique or a special snowflake company.

I mean any commando reading this, if you preordered BF1/Mass effect/etc and they cancelled the game, you gonna go "well win some lose some?"
You can preorder any game right this second and then get a refund at any point up until you play the game.

You gotta love the citizens. The honestly believe that this will be the game to end all games. Everyone will want to be in on this . Real businesses will need to have a presence in Star Citizen if they want to compete in the marketplace! Like Second Life, but better! Of the 7 billion people on the planet, 1 out of 100 will be on star citizen. Guaranteed! That's like 700 million people! And the people holding the ships will be the ones wielding the power.

So look out Taco Bell! If you want to set up shop in this corner of the verse, you need to pay for protection from my mighty fleet!

Hey, how is Second Life doing anyhow? I haven't checked in since the Second Life Safari days.

"Afterburner" is a feature listed on the Star Citizen Features list.

Pulsar Lost Colony has procedurally generated galaxies, 5 player classes and 3 playable factions.

Star Citizen doesn't have any of that, but it has an innovative 'afterburner'

E3 seems kind of weaksauce compared to that
