Cuz' the last I saw of him, the douche was living the high life in his own personal casino, bossing around a bunch of minions...sorry, employees. Not quite the pitiable, guilt-ridden state that folks have described here. So he's not king of an entire species anymore. So his wife left him. Big whoop? How'sabout we see him show any remorse whatsoever about anything he's done...or, failing that, at least throwing some of his considerable influence into fixing the situation or helping its victims, instead of doing his best Al Pacino impression in some lavish penthouse. I hope the Kree come and beat the crap out of him.

I finally read Exiles and can now echo along with so many of you all that Exiles is very good. Fun plots and explorations of alternate universes, some real drama and excellent character development. I thought the ending of Vol. 2 was nice enough too since it didn't invalidate anything that came before, which was a bonus as otherwise I thought the writing wasn't quite up to par in the rest of that volume. Shame, as the team had promise. I got whiplash when Claremont came on board for Exiles Vol. 1 before then though! I didn't hate it, but considering I'm into modern comics and otherwise have just read up on older stuff I definitely had to get used to his purple prose and more dense and convoluted plots. Sage got too much for me to take after Roma, but otherwise I still found the series solid, since I liked the newer characters well enough and am a fan of Psylocke (I also read New Excalibur ahead of the crossover, primarily for more Nocturne, and Pete Wisdom is cool. Dazzler's casual unexplained immortality was amazing too?). However, I was totally unprepared for the the incredible amounts of 'SLAMMO' as a sound effect (no complaints about that of course), people frequently catching one another while taking pains to ask them to 'relax their body', and so many people exclaiming in fights that 'you've had your shot, now it's my turn' which is a little odd being repeated by Claremont himself multiple times. I also expected the repetition of different Fantastic Fours appearing in various dimensions to go somewhere or mean something but it never did.

Remember when Changelings were a thing? Mutants that manifested powers much earlier and got killed for it, and were out to kill the modern versions of mutants? I'm sure we'll be hearing from THEM again.

Before any of the stuff came out they said she would be looking for Scott. But then it became that he was killed, rather than just missing. So who knows what the plan is now.

She'll probably turn up pregnant with Scott's kid except it's also the Phoenix egg or something idk

I don't understand how the phrase "presumed dead" has any currency among the Marvel super hero set. The joke used to be "Only Uncle Ben and Bucky are certainly dead" and half of that hasn't been true for more than a decade.

Mar-Vell is still dead and the other ones mentioned are DC characters, so no. And Mar-Vell died more than 20 years later than Uncle Ben.

Maybe Magneto saying "The world is full of psychics" means he's going to go and get Emma from where ever she is in CW2 X-men.

The best sound balance is usually to be heard from within large concrete bunkers some thirty-seven miles away from the stage, whilst the musicians themselves play their instruments by remote control from within a heavily insulated spaceship which stays in orbit around the planet - or more frequently around a completely different planet.

Death of X covers the events of the 8 month gap. But even without that, there's no way Marvel would kill every X-book including '92 and both Wolverines, especially since the September solicits have some of those books in mid-arc. Also some other books like Vision, Scarlet Witch, and Mockongbird aren't on that list either and they probably aren't ending either. Dan Slott has said on Twitter that he's still on the books he's been on, despite them not being listed. They would have a huge event to kill everyone off, crossing every book, not just a 4-issue mini that takes place at least mostly in flashback.
