Also there's no obvious or great successor to Pence if he leaves, meaning that the Indiana GOP will have to hastily throw together a real primary and have a lot harder time keeping the governorship. If Pence takes this job, he will forever bear the stench of Trump, the stench of loser VP candidate, and the stench of the guy who hosed over the Indiana GOP.
