I do remember something about the song being a sort of homage to living in New York. Maybe that's why I had the two confused. Looks like I'm going to have to go through PJ's discography and see what pops up.

Good song though.

I don't have much to identify this one, but it's a rap song sung by a guy. The hook includes a woman saying "Super" (and only that) with kind of a German pronounciation where the S sounds like Z. A bit too general to have success finding through googling, any ideas?

Years ago (like 2011 or something) I watched a Minecraft video that I can't for the life of me find. It featured an opening shot of the full moon, then the camera shifts to a mine cart railway, then the player hops on a railway system which goes underground and ran for 5 minutes or so. The music playing during this video was credited as Skinny Puppy and I haven't been able to find it crawling through the artist on spotify. It sounded almost like 8-bit music in it's fidelity and had a really distorted voice screaming something like "The dead walk!" or something. Does this sound like anything he did? Edit: Just looked through spotify again and yeah, you're right, that was a hilariously ambiguous descriptor. Turns out it was "Blood on the Wall" from Bites. I can't remember if I already posted this, but I'm looking for a country song that is probably from around 2000-2005. It's a female singer, and she has gone back for some kind of reunion and is talking about all of the plans people had and how none of them actually happened. I think there are a few songs like this, but I've never been able to find the specific one I am looking for. I think one of the people had wanted to be a race car driver or something.

Ugh. I've been up and down google for this one and all through my iTunes... Very 90's indie rock/college music/whatever you'd call it. Chorus, hook or maybe outro (?) is a guy singing "where did you come from, where did you go" over and over. Kinda lo-fi? IT IS NOT REDNEX COTTON EYED JOE or whatever garbage that keeps coming up in searches...

I came across an album that had been uploaded to youtube a few years ago, 2012 maybe? and it was a psychedelic stoner rock album with lots of wah-y electric guitar solos, and the album art was predominantly yellow with I think a mountain shaped thing rising in the centre of it, it may have even had mountain in the album title but I'm not sure. Unfortunately all those terms are generic enough that plugging it in to google gives me a pretty wide assortment of results.

No mountain-shaped thing in the art, but otherwise, it might be kinda sorta a fit. Going more strongly with the mountain thing, perhaps Mountain Climbing!?

The last twice I've been picking up a takeaway from the local Indian restaurant, there's been what I assume is a music video on the tv in the waiting area. There's a bloke with a beard dancing through a hotel while a woman and three guys watch him on the security cameras and eventually he breaks into the security room, shoots two of the men and does a huge Tony Jaa style flying knee to the third's face. I couldn't make out the music over the customers and the guy giving me my food didn't know what it was, can anyone help?

A couple of years ago I came across an interesting English (British?) musician. It's rather oddball blues, quite recent (only a few years old I think), acoustic guitar, much more Captain Beefheart than Muddy Waters or what have you. Long song, some seven minutes or so, odd rhyme scheme, very talky and stompy. I imagine most would find it unlistenable, but it was oddly compelling. There was also a live version available: I recall the guy just being your basic bloke-like white guy: nothing really compelling or outrageous to match the music. I've been searching for "English Outsider music/blues/folk" and "weird english blues", but I haven't had any luck.

I just heard a bit of a song being used as a bumper on talk radio. I was sure I knew the song, but I just tried Googling for it, and the only thing that comes up is a song by Bread, and it's definitely not that song. The song was a ballad-style song, and the lyrics I caught were, "... ribbon(s) in her hair...," and, "I (he?) didn't even know her name." I tried singing it to Midomi, but all I got back were songs in Spanish, and some pop bullshit that doesn't sound remotely like what I'm looking for.
