There was a fiasco a while back where one of them had a blog about all the men she slept with for money because the job didn't pay enough. It pays OK, but not enough to put you in the nicest areas of the greater DC area and eating at the nicest places and wearing the nicest clothes. I've dealt with a lot of them and if you think politicians are insufferable assholes you haven't seen the people who work for them!
