It doesn't matter, Accuracy Corrector cancels all dice results and prevents you from further modifying your dice. So you either get the free crit or the two hits, but not both.

That was a pretty tight game, and it really came down to the last turn - Herux and I both had move choices that were strongly dependent on what the other guy did (his Chewie and my crippled Jan and Wedge). Herux decided to turn after Jan, which I had correctly moved Jan to prep for - but if he'd gone for Wedge I had hosed up that move badly and he could've killed Wedge unanswered. Then it would've been 2 health Chewie against 2 health TLT Jan!

So I ran this list today and did pretty well against a Dash and Kanan. Kanan had auto blasters which killed off Carnor, but Carnor did do some nice range one action denial while Inky sniped. Any thoughts on any changes? An observing player suggested switching Glaive for Ryad. New Imps (100) Glaive Squadron Pilot (36) - TIE Defender Predator (3), TIE/x7 (-2), Twin Ion Engine Mk. II (1) Carnor Jax (33) - TIE Interceptor Crack Shot (1), Royal Guard TIE (0), Shield Upgrade (4), Targeting Computer (2) The Inquisitor (31) - TIE Adv. Prototype Lone Wolf (2), TIE/v1 (1), Hull Upgrade (3)

If you have Autothrusters you certainly want to throw them on both Carnor Jax and The Inquisitor. Drop the Shield/Hull upgrades. They'll also want Push the Limit for their EPTs. Also Ryad would be good if you're willing to drop the Defender down one pilot skill. In that skill range there isn't a whole lot of competition. Maybe Juke instead of Predator. Reasonable 99 points. Countess Ryad (34) Juke (2) Twin Ion Engine Mk. I ran a modified version of my imp heavy hitters squad (I forgot to print my list, so I had to recreate it from memory). And I really liked it. My first game I played against a list that was pretty similar: two defenders and Inquisitor. Tomax Bren - Tie Bomber (30 Pts) TIE Shuttle (0)+ Crack Shot (1)+ Mara Jade (3)+ Saboteur (2) Maarek Stele - Tie Defender (42 Pts) Tractor beam (1)+ Marksmanship (3)+ TIE/D (0)+ Stealth Device (3) Valen Rudor - Tie Adv. Prototype (25 Pts) Predator (3) Squad Builder So with Tormax I can use infinite crack shots, and I tried to get in close to swarms to stress them out and try to sabotage some damage. Meanwhile Maarak can use marksmanship with his action, use tractor beams and then hits with his primary, getting to on both attacks use the marksmanship ability on both. Once I got to use his special ability, to put a direct hit on one of the defenders who only has 3 hull. Valen was there just to do some good all around damage (the tie adv. prototype has a really great dial) I was able to take out the 2 defenders, leaving the inquisitor, and after a bit of chasing around trying to maneuver my guys in a sort of triangle arc facing in I was able to get him, winning with no losses of ships. I feel like I didn't get a lot of use from saboteur, so I might replace that with maybe one of the officers. Also, there might be a better upgrade to use instead of preditor. I feel like that 1 die reroll didn't really help me all that much (I kept rerolling to blanks). My second game was against a swarm of As with Jake leading them. I managed to get my shuttle in 1 range of all of them, stressing the 3 As that weren't stressed. Even again 2 PS ships I felt I wasn't getting a lot out of preditor. Sadly we ran out of time and it was unclear who would have won, I took out on of the As, but my shuttle was on its last legs with 4/6 damage. Overall, I feel like this is a pretty strong list. I'm going to experiment with a non-shuttle bomber too because I want to try out cluster mines. Foolster41 fucked around with this message at 07:00 on Jul 19, 2016 |

Saboteur is bad so yes definitely swap it out for something else. 3 points is quite a high bid for a 6,7,8 squad so might as well throw the title on Valen Rudor, get yourself some more action economy. Especially if you go for Systems Officer instead of Saboteur. Aramoro fucked around with this message at 09:28 on Jul 19, 2016 |

The Gate posted:What happens if Manaroo dies? Dengar's gonna have a poo poo pile of stress on him. Yep, but that's why Manaroo gets Engine Upgrade and PTL. I've played this list half a dozen times now with Kanan, Shuttle, Biggs, and for me I'm fine with attacking Dengar first if they make me. I've even had a couple times where I simply don't attack the round they use Glitterstim and Counter Measures, since there's no reason to get likely misses that will result in lots return fire from Dengar and the droid.

While Dengar was away, Manaroo danced at a cantina, but a slaver working for Jabba the Hutt, specifically one with a large pouch in its belly he used to hold her captive in, captured and presented her to the bloated crime lord as a slave.

Yeah, Dengar is the best character of the ESB bounty hunters and that is a low goddamned bar. Discarded imperial assassin program leftovers powered by insane hatred of Han Solo for something Han Solo almost certainly does not remember doing? That's honestly a good core conceptl! Accidentally saves a woman over the course of an assassination job who ends up helping him regrow emotions other than insane hatred courtesy of Wierd Sci-Fi Bullshit, something he only agrees to do because his reaction when first given a taste of the Attani Mindlink was "ahhh. another emotion. it's like a drink of cool water. so relaxing. so tiring to be angry all the time. this one is... yes, I remember this... this is abject poo poo-your-pants terror." "oh yeah, right, this is the one why people sometimes drop cowering begging for me to finish them when they could still totally escape me." "Hey, uh, lady. Good news, the Imperials won't be interrogating you and killing you, I'm kidnapping you instead. You'll help me figure out how the gently caress Solo thinks." "who is solo" "Not important, get onboard the Space Big Rig and let's roll." now, from there the story goes nowhere interesting at all, but the start at least is legit Really Cool.

Played my second game with the Punisher, Col. Sanders and Gamma Squaddy and I only won because we played with a 65 minute timer (for fun) and the game went the distance. I took out his Stress Hog Y-Wing while he only managed to damage most of my ships. So we played the next turn just to see what would happen and both Redline and Vessery melted. So all in all, I came away from that game realizing that I used to be pretty neutral about TLT, but I've now decided that I actually really hate them.
