so I've started doing pvp pretty recently and I didn't poo poo the bed during last IB, but I'm having trouble with control this time around. Most of the issues could prob be solved by playing in a fireteam with goons, but my weekday schedule is touch and go, so I have to pub it until the weekend. That being said, if my team is getting their poo poo pushed back is it better to hang back, play conservatively and try not to feed the other team?

If you're truly getting your poo poo punched in its best to consolidate in front of your point (close enough to team shoot but not close enough to get mass supered) and hope they push to hard and you get a quick spawn flip. Then in the chaos maybe you can make something happen. Focus should be on shutting down supers and not getting supered, to avoid getting orb trained.

Youre better off getting an electolock down with your slam than trying to wait for a double of triple.

The most obvious sniper lanes keep the wannabe montagers occupied, and forces the truly good snipers to either commit to lane control(water fall) or help out in the middle. It's super easy to avoid those lines of sight. Controlling the bridge and outside cliff is what wins the match. Team work is imperative.

It's guaranteed First Blood / B-Line medals. Just rush waterfall, snipe the end because you'll get there first by ignoring initial cap, grenade the end for a second, fly to B. Works every. single. time.

Pages back but the thing with high sensitive sticks or mice is your are compensating for having lovely engagement practice by hoping twitch well win out. Lower trains your hand to be more precise and set up your encounters properly and not be stupid

15 or so games of iron lag. 1 waeloarns dropped. Bad rolls. The search continues. The connections seem better than previous iron banners. Still worse than regular pvp. The sweat is real though. Even match is against people i know by name. Lame.

If you can get a good push into B on Pantheon and consistently hold it, there is absolutely gently caress all the other team can do to you. 9/10 times people want to be sicknasty MLG snipers, but I actively ignore the sniper lanes and therefore they're left their thumbs up their asses hardscoping one or both lanes.

So you let everyone else frag each other in 2 seconds then you can clean up without risk.

Hang back and be the rear end in a top hat I usually am and then pull out my broken as gently caress Ash Factory and go to town.

If you're not running an exotic primary then there's no reason not to use it - max blast radius, horseshoes, tracking and tripod.
